about.
Based on the unceded and ancestral territory of the hÉ™nÌ“qÌ“É™minÌ“É™mÌ“ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking peoples, the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, Adrian Ramos, is a multimedia artist with a diverse creative history that spans over a decade. Building upon a formal education in traditional hand-drawn media, Adrian has sought to expand his skillset and adapt alongside ever-evolving technologies. By utilizing cross-disciplinary techniques to fuel experimentation, he has created a body of work that takes many forms; abstract digital art, framed backlit vinyl print, cut-vinyl installation, CNC milled PVC sculpture, live-action rotoscoping, audio reactive animations etc. In 2014, Adrian began an ongoing VJ career; designing and performing custom visuals at live concert venues and festivals across B.C. Notable collaborators include Bonobo, Eprom, Z-Trip, Alex & Allyson Grey, and Shambhala Music Festival. Driven to further enhance his understanding of the arts, Adrian continues to cultivate an expansive visual aesthetic that is layered and dynamic.
